VLDA competes annually in the Sydney Eisteddfod season, with VLDA groups enrolling in 5 Sydney wide Eisteddfods typically.
Group sections:
These are performed in all dance genres. However we annually have multiple groups competing in Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz in varying age categories, typically in 10u, 12u, 14u and Open sections
Soloist sections.
Principal, Jessica Van Loon personally selects talented Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre VLDA students for the honour of representing VLDA on the competitive stage in 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u and Open sections. Private lessons are provided for these talented students.
